BIOMECHANICAL VARIATIONS

For the 2026 edition of Dances at MuCCC, Infinite Spark has been invited to present an original short composition drawn from and inspired by Vsevelod Meyerhold’s dynamic physical theater training system, called Biomechanics.

Biomechanical Variations is a striking homage to one of Infinite Spark’s central theater practices. Employing the principles contained within its training-études, Jon and Rachel craft an original composition that dances between conflict and play. Accompanied by a live percussionist, Infinite Spark charges the space with a fresh take on an evocative form of physical theater.
