Dark Eyes
by Rachel Kodweis
2017

In early industrial Europe, a young boy with more to lose than he thinks goes looking for adventure in a forbidden forest. On his journey into the unknown, the people he encounters are not what they seem—though perhaps there is one among them keeping a sharp eye on his soul.
Dark Eyes is a Gothic-style folktale about one boy's coming of age that fuses vibrant storytelling, wicked humor, and physical theater.
